Maggie's to feature on a stand the expo, which runs on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 October 2011 at London's Business Design Centre

Future Health & Care Expo, a brand-new show for those involved in building and maintaining healthcare facilities, is partnering with Maggie’s for this year’s show. As part of the partnership, Maggie's has been provided with a complimentary exhibition stand and website listing.

Maggie’s is also going to be the official partner for the drinks reception taking place on Monday 3 October, where Mary Pierre-Harvey, Head of Property at Maggie's, will provide a short address telling guests about its work, as well as hosting a charity raffle. Furthermore, 10 per cent of the cost of subscriptions to Building, Building Design and Property Week magazines taken out between 20 September and 16 October through the Future Health & Care Expo website will be donated to Maggie’s.

“At Maggie’s we help anyone affected by cancer, and welcome anyone at any point in the cancer journey, as well as their friends and family,” explains Laura McGill, corporate partnerships manager, Maggie’s. “With 15 centres around the UK either built or under construction, we understand how important the built environment is for patient care and recovery, and we’re delighted that Future Health & Care Expo has provided us with the opportunity to get this message out to the show’s visitors.”

Andy Stewart, event project director, Future Health & Care Expo, said: “The work that Maggie’s carries out is incredibly important for cancer patients and their families, and we are glad we are able to support the work of the charity. We’re confident that the visitors to the show will be inspired to help Maggie’s and will take part in the charity raffle and magazine subscriptions.”
