  • Hats off to Maggie’s - Philip Treacy OBE donates hat for Maggie’s

    Sunday 30 May 2010

    Perth Ladies Lunch 2010

A fabulous lunch was held in the Lovat Hotel Perth to raise funds for Maggie’s Centre Dundee. The lunch was hosted by Maggie's Associate Board members Shirley Linton and Joyce Leslie accompanied by, soon to be, board member Jenny King.

MC for the day was Andy Cameron who also oversaw the auction, which included a one off creation by milliner to the royal family, Philip Tracey OBE. The beautiful hat was a creation in duck egg blue with a  profusion of grey feathers.  It was a much talked about centrepiece at the lunch and is now being worn with pride by its new owner.

The ladies were entertained by Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists The Chippen Doubles, who made a special appearance.  Also present was author, Martel Maxwell, who was on hand to sign her new book.

The total raised on the day was £10,000.
